Dear Warhawk Family,   The 2012 football season is almost upon us!  For the coaches and players in the program, it is actually well underway.  The players have been working hard since January in our strength, speed, and conditioning program.  The assistant coaches have done another outstanding job on the recruiting trail and coaching during spring practice.  Players will report to camp on August 10th, practice begins August 11th, and our first game is Friday night, August 31st in St. Louis, against Washington University.                       We are all 100% committed to making the 2012 Warhawk football season a success.  We can’t do it alone, and I’m inviting you to join us!  I would like to encourage your membership and participation in the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Quarterback Club.  The QB Club is your opportunity to become involved in providing our players a family atmosphere, help them develop personally, and ultimately continue our championship level of play.     We all know there are financial challenges to operating a football program with 100 student-athletes, increased operational costs, and technological needs.  While our recent success is well documented, everyone involved with Warhawk football realizes we are building on success that has been built over decades.  We are truly “POWERED BY TRADITION”.  As the head coach, my vision is to build a program in which we see as much success looking into the future as we do when we look at the present or look into the past.  I believe the Quarterback Club is the Power behind the Tradition!   Thanks in no small part to the contributions and volunteer efforts of the Quarterback Club, we enjoy some of the finest facilities, equipment, and fan atmosphere in Division III Football.  This year, contributions will help us support the cost of irrigation system for our practice fields and a much needed renovation to our equipment room.    You can make a difference in helping us sustain the level of excellence Warhawk football has achieved and that we all enjoy.  Please join the UW-W Quarterback Club TODAY! The UW-Whitewater Warhawk Quarterback Club can trace its roots back to 1957. From that original group of loyal Warhawk football fans, the club has grown, and continues to assist the football staff in continuing the successful program established over many years of championship football. This success creates a sense of pride for its faculty and staff, alumni, students, and friends. A successful football program strengthens our tradition, serving as a rallying point for the entire community, and enhances the awareness of the University, which can help to attract the "Leaders and Best" to our campus. The purpose of the Whitewater Quarterback Club is to support Warhawk Football and to raise funds for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Football program. Any individual may become a member of the Quarterback Club by contributing money, material or services needed or requested by the football program.
